It is a groundbreaking therapeutic method devised by Eileen McKusick. She was working as a massage therapist and somehow was led to investigate tuning forks, yes, like the one used to tune a piano. She assumed the fork would make the same sound wherever it was struck but discovered this was not the case. She had a eureka moment when by chance she was striking the fork away from the body and heard the sound of the fork change. Once again simple observation and experimentation pointed the way to fascinating discoveries. From here she undertook extensive research. She discovered the existence of plasma, the fourth state of matter which rarely gets a mention at school. From here she delved deeper and discovered that the human body is fundamentally electric. How do we jumpstart a heart - with electricity. Our brains, blood, bones, fascia, collagen are electric. Whatever has an electric current running through it creates an electromagnetic field. So the field surrounding the body is the human energy field or Biofield, a more scientific name than aura. Aether is a more subtle energy form of plasma, another concept that got omitted from the science books. The nothingness of space has been disproved. Even Einstein said later in his life that space without an aether was unthinkable. Sound and electricity is energy/ vibration travelling through space. We all sense good vibes and bad vibes. Sound is part of the electromagnetic spectrum and so a vibrating tuning fork produces an electromagnetic charge and makes it act like a magnet so it can manipulate the way electromagnetic energy is flowing.
Our biofield contains information of our history as it records our vibrational experiences, so any hits or knocks we’ve experienced in life may be stuck in the field. By combing through the field with a tuning fork we can detect places of dissonance/disturbance/resistance. By holding the fork there the sound acts as a mirror that reflects the body’s disturbance back to it. The body uses the input to auto-correct. Just like a musical instrument, the body is an instrument that we need to keep tuned. The field extends 5-6 feet away from the body. The outer edge of the field stores information around birth and the remaining space is divided into years according to the person’s age, a bit like tree rings, the closer to the body, the more recent. These areas of disturbance create energy blocks which stop us fulfilling our potential and the more we can get noise and resistance out of our electrical signal the more of our potential we can access. The LegacyThe Biofield Anatomy Map links different areas of static in the Field to possible causes. It was developed by Eileen McKusick after years of research into the electric nature of the human body using medical thermography, the Bio-well, the Biofield viewer, heart rate variability and biophoton counters. All of these devices have demonstrated interesting and significant shifts in before and after readings.
In line with the Biofield Tuning Institute’s mission to reduce the amount of unnecessary suffering in the world, there is an outreach programme ‘Tuners without Borders’ for at-risk populations worldwide. The first programme was launched in Kingston, Jamaica in October 2018. It provides free tools and training in a simpler, easier to learn form of Biofield Tuning to low income and at risk populations. SessionsLasting an hour these can be done lying down or seated.
Cost is £55 or £150 for 3 paid in advance. In the event of cancellation 24 hours' notice is required, otherwise the full fee for the session will be charged. Biofield Tuning sessions can also be conducted remotely without the client needing to be physically present. This can be done via Skype or information can be sent after the session via voicemail. Testimonials"I was fascinated to hear a difference in the quality of tone of the tuning fork as it encountered dissonance in the field. As the dissonance cleared, the quality became clearer and brighter. Sometimes at those places of dissonance I could also feel pressure in my body. That pressure eased as the dissonance cleared.
At the first session in particular my body re-experienced a chronology of old injuries and aches, some of which I had forgotten about - but my body remembered. These were felt as mild aches and niggles, which disappeared quickly as the field was clearing. After a session I can feel either very tired, or very thirsty, both of which are indications I recognise that my body is processing and healing. A tuning session is a relaxing, non-invasive way to help the body to heal." - P.S. “I had 3 Biofield Tuning sessions with Linda and felt it to be beneficial. My favourite bit was discovering the times of trauma that Linda found leading up to the present moment, and subsequently their being ‘cleared’. Linda explained that, as an adult, you may not think that events that happened when you were younger were traumatic, but they did leave a mark. There was no going over what they were, or how they were caused, but just an acknowledgement, and then they were ‘cleared’. I found this really helpful." “Linda is so calm and caring, and there is a lovely atmosphere in her house where I have had some treatments. The Biofield Tuning can also be done remotely and, as I live about 100 miles away, we were able to do 2 of them without my having to travel back to Linda’s house. I was able to receive Linda’s findings via an audio file that she emailed, which was really helpful, and very relaxing to listen to as the sound the tuning fork makes is very calming!” "I am medically qualified and have knowledge about physics (electron/positron magnetic field etc) and I found it interesting to investigate the hypothesis behind Tuning which Linda explained to me. I was convinced and decided to have some sessions. There is not much you feel at the time and if you try to measure it in any way you can’t, but after the session something changes inside yourself and there is a feeling of new energy and less tiredness. This is very useful for me as I lead a very hectic life . Gradually I became more positive about my skills and gained increased trust in them. This was also noted by colleagues and friends. Perhaps I was the last to notice. I have rationally decided that this is beneficial for me. There is nothing airy-fairy about it. Things are very clear. The principles are sound and therefore I’m going to continue." - S.dP |
